About the Armadillo Run
The Armadillo Run is an annual event that is put on by the Rotary Club of Oldsmar/East Lake.
There are three races to choose from. The popular and enjoyable 10K and
5K runs are held on flat, fast, and scenic certified courses. There will
be splits every mile and three water stops. There is also a 1 Mile
Wellness Run/Walk, so please visit our links on the left to find out
information about parking and to view the maps for the races.
The 1 Mile Wellness Walk/Run will begin at 8:45 AM with the 5K and 10K runs both beginning at 7:30 AM.
High quality awards will go to the top four in each age group for both 10K and 5K. Each pre-registered runner is guaranteed to receive a colorful commemorative T-shirt. We're hosting a super post-race party with massages, entertainment, food, beer, and much more. Please don' t miss this opportunity to help us celebrate 30 years of outstanding racing.
Participating in the Armadillo Run helps the Rotary Club of Oldsmar/East Lake support local charities in our communities.
Some of the sponsored programs include the East Lake Little League, Oldsmar Little League, Adopt-A-Class in our Elementary Schools, Student of the Month, Come Back Kid, Scholarships for graduating seniors of East lake High School, Grad Night, Oldsmar Cares, The Food Pantry of Community United Methodist Church, Students For Tomorrow's Leaders, and many more.
